since those are budget subs pretty much i would go with a budget amp like hifonics or power acoustiks.

I think he decided on a fac. renewed Kicker KX-400.1. This amp would be good for those subs power wise correct?

My friend has that with a kole audio hk-620. it gives it ~300 watts and it sounds good for the price of speakers, etc.
