what is the xmax of the l7's 12'

You should've gotten a sheet with all of that information on it when you bought htem. I'm not familiar with the L7's. So I don't know.

one more question how do i figure up how much port area is necessary for a 33hz tune

this is the one that i used when i needed to figure my port size. ive got a 15" l5 w/ about 4 cubes after sub and port displacement, mine is tuned around 33 hertz...m.ine is 3" wide, and 20" deep not sure if that is what you would need with ur box though.
