I got two amp kits from http://www.knukonceptz.com and 2 bags of polyfill for my enclosure. Speaker wire is 16Gauge and I think that's it for now...

I got a 4AWG Gauge kit and 8AWG gauge kit.

Bass response will be lacking with the top down of course. Might need more woofer and power to overcome the road noise and other niceties associated with the vert.

While I'm at it, got any pics of the vehicle? I see the SVT in your name as well. Is there an SVT product in your stable?

Also, get some deadening for the doors! Expect a dramatic increase in bass response over the factory. I did my doors and my Mach 460 drivers really cleared up. Muddy bass is a thing of the past, and the outer skin no longer rattles.

I have a 2003 Terminator Coupe w/ pully swap, bassani catted x-pipe, CAI and tune. Dyno'd at 468rwhp/473rwtq ( this is my cherry, i haven't worked on audio yet, but I have some plans for it...components, 2xJL W7's, custom trunk enclosure, ect..)

I just bought my very first ragtop, a 1996 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, 5spd, 88K miles, and is a work in progress. I have plans of putting a 1999 DOHC V8 in it, FRPP Racing Transmission and have as weekend car. Will be repainting it, getting black convertible top, has 5% tint all around, 97 GT wheels, 2" FRPP drop, suspension out of a Mach1, HANS subframe connectors, HANS rear shock tower brace, 5 point strut tower brace and 275/40/17 AV550's.

I swore I was never going to put anything into my Cobra, but I applied some deadener to the trunk to quiet the Flowmaster drone and it went from there. Now the rear seat is out making way for a glass enclosure and rack.

Nice first setup man. Ahh...first system memories. POS Aiwa h/u, 2 Pioneer 12" subs with a profile 600msx amplifier and crappy 3 1/2" dash speakers. All that in my old 80 cutlass supreme. Now ive moved on to a Camaro and what you see in my sig. Im playing with the big boys now.
