My first Ported box *pix*

it sounds awesome. No port noise from drivers seat very minimal and only at high excursion at port. You can feel it moving lots of air. And i don't car if people say the port design doesn't work because the sub is behaving exactly as it should in a box about 3.5 cu/ft at 32ish hertz, might be 35 because of the design. If i had a camcorder id video it but I don't.

yeah...your port area changes. that is a Funny port. No telling what its tuned to.

As far as construction. It looks good for your first time. Next time counter sink the screws and evenly space them if you are going to leave the box uncovered they look 10x better when you do that. But solely on outside apearance...I'll give it a 6/10 for your first time thats not to bad.

i belive you use liquid nail for the terminals.. if noone has answered your question..

heres finished pictures minus the port i need to sand down and repaint.

Terminals i ended up buying some that had foam backing and just screwed them in and then chalked the inside. And all of of the inside is evenly chalked i just didnt get any pics, and seriously i get no port noise for if regal was criticizing.

why it functions eexactly the same just instead of the port length being turned on just a 2d plan it made one extra turn onto a 3d plane

Looks like a Functional port to me, i just still dont understand how you calculated everything, and so accurate, that's the only thing that's bothering me.

again i didnt calculate it so i cant explain but seeing as i did create this threaad to get constructional criticism, more people comment on construction. I just want to get better at building

Port looks like it works just fine to me. As long as the mouth width is the same as the height of the box. The port has two bends. As long as you followed the design and it sounds good then all is well. Nice build, dp.

and yes the port opening is the exact same dimensions as the the rest of the port
