the written test is hard....bunch of bs like b\a limit and how many drugs should you do before you ride and shit...like you're gonna check your b\a level before you ride

Usually a two day event and a writtin test on the end of the second day. Your in the classroom most of the first day and then about you and 10 other hop on a 250 bike and get used to the clutch and brakes. And then ya go through some cones and do some emergency braking and what not. The final test is to jump a ramp over 15 flaming buses, but don't worry, they are the little short 20 passanger ones. No biggie.

Suzuki SV650, honestly even that bike is going to be a bit much as a starter bike, but being your size it should fit just fine.

You can check out several bike forums to get info about starter bikes, what to look for, ect.. Gixxer.com is one of the good ones.
