My first look at a Hifonics BXi1206D

Yeah I wasn't bashing you or anything. Nothing wrong with Hifonics if your on a budget, I ran a 1606d for a while and it did a pretty good job, never cut off on me or anything.

Liek I said it's great budget amp, just over rated.

Hell 900 RMS for $150 bucks ain't half bad

you never mentioned anything about the ohmload. I highly doubt the amp did 900@1ohm...... I just benched my 2608 and it definately does rated power. I will put up results as soon as I get pics

alright sounds good. right now my voltage sits at 14.1 with the car on at idle. so im hoping i can get the most out of the amp.

I'd rather see them clamped...but I guess this is one way to test it.

clamped, voltage drop, and db would have been nice. the ear is not good enough for something this close.

I've done the test to the bxi2608, it's older brother. So i would assume your amp does rated as well
