My first enclosure! What do you think? (lot of pics)

and what is wrong with infinit subs? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Yeah, I'd like to know you opinion also. Cause I like it, it hits hard and fast. Plus I got it for 25 CAN $ on ebay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

i'm gonna be doing something similar in my Rx7. Mine's a convertible though. There is nowhere to fit subs in that thing.

I'm finishing the system in my truck first though...

the enclosure looks good so far. before you cover it with carpet, take care of the waves that you left on the bottom side of the sub and all the ruff spots that are kind of big and will show when carpeted. so bondo and sand.

Looking good so far, a little bondo and a lot of sanding. Should make it rather sexy. As was said that's a large flat panel on the bottom. Something you wanna try to avoid making out of fiberglass. Next time instead of the kitty hair. Just cut some lengths of rope and glass it in between layers on the large flat panels like that. You will be amazed how much strength a few pieces of rope can add //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Very good idea! I wanted to use a "chicken cage" (pure translation here... sorry; it's a sheet made of thin steel segments that intercect at 90 degrees), but it was a REAL pain in the *** to make it fit. So I just forgot about it and thought that the extra layers of duraglass and polyurethane would do the job. I'll try it for sure next time!!!

Just wanted to show you the final product of my work. It's not perfect... the second ont will be better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

I use a 40 grit grinding wheel to smooth out any bumps in the glass itself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
