My first comp

Just got back from my first comp ever. Was a freaking blast, there was some nice stuff up there. Being my first comp i only did Street Stock C but still took first. Did a 142.0 off music on the TL so it made me happy. The XXX was begging me for so much more power but i could only feed it the ~800 my amp was putting out, maybe less as my voltage was sitting at about 11v.

I got a month now before the next comp and wanna see if i can do at least a 145 ish with a second 1200D. DJ said the pair should do ~2500 RMS @ 2 so i should be feeding that XXX nicely.

Thats as low as the sub runs down. I thought it was a dual 2ohm but one coil reads 2.2 and the other is @ 2.4 ohms . When i wired it into series its sitting @ 1.6. Its gonna be a good though for when i run the pair of 1200D's though as i can only go to 2ohm strapped. Defiantly moved a shit load of air even on the lower wattage so i cant wait to really open her up and see what numbers i can pull.

Ya, im a noob. is it weird that its sitting @ 1.6 ohms? it kinda had me confused but like i said it works for when i pair up the 1200's
