So I'm doing my first complete car audio system overhaul on my IS300 and wanted some judgement on my shopping list before I make the purchase. The only item I have already purchased is the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH Head Unit and dash kit. I'm a bit of a noob but have a good head on my shoulders and plan on doing it the right way using all available resources. It's been difficult to decide on these components but this is what I have come up with. My budget is up to $1500 but I am trying to keep it close to $1000. So $1000-$1500 total. So far I am at $1021.92.
I paid $400 for the AVH-P4400BH and kit.
The rest of the list:
Rockford Fosgate Rfk4x 4 Gauge Amplifier Install Kit Made of 100% Pure Crystal-oxygen Free Copper - Rockford Fosgate
$77.99
Focal 165 VB - Focal
$249.99
MRX-F30 - Alpine 4-Channel 600 Watt Max Speaker Amplifier - Alpine
$169.95
Alpine Spr-69 6 x 9 Inches 2 Way Pair of Car Speakers Totalling 600 Watts Peak / 200 Watts RMS - Alpine
$114.00
Metra 70-8113 Radio Wiring Harness for Toyota Amp Integration 20 Pin - Metra Electronics Corp
$9.99
I'm also either buying a 3/4" speaker baffle for the front speakers or making my own out of a plastic or mdf material.
Judge away and please don't flame... I am a noob. What do you guys think... any advice would be appreciated.
