My Dilemma. Help me pick...

Well after basically reading every post related to double din video/nav units on this board, and a handful of reviews and posts on other sites... ive narrowed it down to 2 choices. This is for personal use, and SQ is not a huge deal...

1) Pioneer AVIC-Z1 [$1600-1800]

2) Kenwood DDX6019 + KNA-G510 Nav (by Garmin) [$1000-1200]

I had to rule out the eclipse units for their lack of features, mainly Bluetooth.

With the Z1 it would seem that the only justification for the larger price tag would be the Voice Recognition and built in HDD. Which is just plain cool.

Then theres the Kenwood... I know the least about this unit. But it seems to steal the show so far with its awesome price tag. But is the sound up to par with the other units? Again, not a crazy SQ guy and this is really for personal use only, but I dont want to drop that kind of coin to have crap sound. Also, is the ipod controller in the same ballpark as the others? I seem to have a hard time finding any good info on this unit. However, I have heard that the nav is great, being that its made by Garmin.

What I REALLY want is the Avic-z1 because its just plain cool wrapped up in to one nice little package... but the money saved would be beneficial to completing my system sooner than later. What is your input? Any and all experiences with any of these units would be great! Thanks in advance.

i have installed both and love the Z1, i am actually in the process of buying a Z1. the bluetooth feature works flawlessly, the voice recognition is great, and you could buy a bypass module ($25) to watch flicks while driving. another thing you may look into is a PAC module to keep your steering wheel controls if you have them. the steering wheel interface is a bit of a pain, but worth it. the sound is good with the z1 and would be on par with other decks in its rating, but if you you are on here chances are a 4 channel is in the near future. so i wouldnt worry too much about it.
