Is this normal? Deck opens when car turns off....

Well i just installed my new headunit, Pioneer Premier 780MP, and whenever i turn my car off, the faceplate opens to reveal the CD insert. I am not sure if there is a setting for this or if something is wrong or whatnot. I can turn the car on, the deck turns on fine, buttons work and whatnot, but when i shut my car off, a few seconds after its off the deck opens as if i pushed the "open" button for the CD.

I have a pioneer deck that does the same thing. It opens up so you can remove the faceplate when you turn off the car and leave. You should be able to turn that off if you want to. Look in the settings menu when the deck is off.

Press and hold function with the cd player off, then select auto open and change it to off.
