My Dilema - Has anyone used these subs

So I have a friend that said he would sell me his Polk Audio DB1040DVC for 45 bucks, I am on a budget right now so I think its a good idea, was wondering if you guys think the same thing or should I go another route. I just want a nice setup nothing crazy.

before you buy it from your friend have him hook it for you for listen.

The polks DB line is ok

Ive been playing with t3 t.200 lower line subs as midbass drivers which i really like.

maybe look into this sub for $52,

T3 Audio T200-10s 10" 400 Watts Single 4 Ohm Subwoofer

Im lookin at the RE sub now im hearing its better than the Polk
