That isn't adequate provocation. Not near enough, especially since he had a way out, or other actions for recourse that hadn't been exhausted.

Convince the judge that his motioning with the folder is the same as finding her in bed with him or that it threatened your life.

A lot of people like the guy that your cousin roughed up are like that for a long time, BECAUSE NOBODY DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT....and when finally do do something the "right" way, through the legal process, or by reporting it to your boss, etc, it turns out to be just a slap on the wrist for them. And then they keep doing what they shouldn't be doing, 'cause they don't take anyone seriously that tells them to stop.

I bet your cousin's co-worker takes that a little more seriously now. Good on your cousin.

Believe me, I'm not hating Asians. This ain't a race thing, in fact I love the Asian women. This is a stupidity thing and Gs like you are chock full of it. So come on in to my town and find out "wussup". I know the lawyers, judge and the **** prison guards. I doubt it. If he plays his cards right he could get a settlement in a civil suit, so it would actually give him MORE reason to continue. You Gs have no ****ing clue, I swear.

that first sentence makes zero sense. i said that i could understand why he did it and that jealousy got the best of him. it happens. what you suggested is pre-meditated and only done by people who put vengeance in front of everything else, which applies to things more serious, such as raping someone you know, murdering, or stealing from and getting away with it. a "real" G knows when the reward out weighs the risk and vice versa. if a person can't see that, then that makes them a 2nd rate thug.

Lol, he totally made the right choice. He maybe seperated from his wife for a very long time and may essentially be screwed for life, but hey at least he got some respect.
