Yeah so the county my college is located in is a dry county. I'd always taken for granted the fact that the county is dry by legislation. I'm smack dab in the middle of the Bible belt. But get this: the county isn't dry by legislation.

The school bought all but two available liquor licenses in the county. One is owned by a really old liquor store in town, and recently, a new Chili's procured a liquor license. That incident is what brought the whole school owning the liquor licenses issue to the surface.

ok White county has a limit to how many liquor licenses it will sell. So lets say they'll sell a dozen. My school owns 10 of them so that students can't get liquor locally

Umm, I'm not sure what they're teaching you in school but that is called a Monopoly.

So unless your name ends in stein, feld, or is schwartz and you wake up in the moring in a strange shower then I don't think they are Nazis.

I also believe the Elks club thing for old people owns one of the liquor licenses as well. The one across the street from wal-mart. Harding is gay.. That school owns searcy imo. Im glad i live in woodruff county.

U should start like A group of people who want to buy Alchol. Than have 1 or 2 people drive outta town and bring everyone who chips in back what they want. Than charge a little for Gas/time.
