wow how ironic! I was coming on here to post the same question. My 1990 Nissan Pathfinder is having the same problem. Only difference is i just got a new battery 2 weeks ago. I took it in to pep boys to see if it was dead, Only problem was that they were closing in 2 mins so they just gave me a new battery(24 month warenty). I'll see if i can find my starter in the morning and give it a few taps and see what happens.
