Coming out of the plastic mount that holds my mmat 6.5's both left and right doors.

anyone able to help me with this? It's 07 accent it shouldn't leak. The only thing done was the windows were professionally tinted and i installed the speakers.

Should I take my speakers out of my doors until my car gets in the shop next week?

Does water hurt comps? (I'd sure think it would )

maybe just condensation from cold weather here in IL then the heat from your car = water. just my guess

naw it was raining in springfield when it happend. this was the 2nd time.

Sounds like the drain holes in the bottom of the door is clogged or covered over.

Did you install sound deadner when you put those comps in your doors?

no I didn't. Why would a new car have a way to let water in ? ie rust

It has to be some kind of defect or something from the factory. I used to have a 2000 Tiburon and that thing was built like a tank. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the design on the doors and interior after I had taken them all apart and out to do my install in it after I first got it.

Definitely pull the door apart and check the trim, the drain holes, etc... I suggest relocating that crossover (and, yes, I know running wire through those skinny Hyundai door wire--runs is a b***h) and putting a piece of baffle on the back-side of that mid to deflect any water that may get to it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
