so as some of you know, my window broke the other day on the way to the clearwater meet. once i get a new window im gonan go inspect the door panals because its gotta be the window flyin aroud in there and hitting a screw head or something.......
.....anyways...on my way to sanford last night, my rear view mirror decides to smoke crack on me. the little part inside that connects the mirror to the mount (this piece is also internally connected to the small little lever on the middle bottom of your rear view) decided to break on me too........so now when the the bass hit, even slightly. it went alllll kinds of outa whack. before it wa snly the upper bass notes (45Hz and up) that made this happen.....
....so on the spot, armed with duct tape, a pen, a lighter, and 4 rubber bands, i secured the rear view to withstand the heavy bass....
used 2 of the rubber bands to hold the level back as far as it would go and wrapped them around the mount. at this point when the bass dropped the mirror would start siming downwards....so i took the lighter and wedged it into a spot to where id keep the mirror from aiming downwards. well this was workign pretty well exept the mirror would still be tilted clockwisire just a little. the gap between the window and where the mirror would need to be normall happen to fit a pen in there nicely. so i duct taped the pen into that spot, and then chaaa ching //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif broke rear view fixed with some afro/mcguyer engineering. and to top it off, my check engine light comes on shortly after.........my car is just getting blacker and blacker......
