Yeah, my last system lasted me 4 years until I decided to try something new! Now over the last year Ive been trying new stuff all the time, wasted a lot of money on stuff I didnt like, and ended up with new everything except my sealed enclosure. I got it from a frend about 5 years ago with some crappy MTX subs, but it all 1" MDF so it stayed!

Ill still mess with tuning and stuff, but as far as looking for the next best setup, Im pretty sure* Ill be done for a while, but like I said it sucks because I enjoyed trying new stuff!

A real car audio enthusiast doesnt run a T4001BD amp. I would run a T40001BD myself if I had 2 18's

I was usually satisfied with mine, but every 3 months or less Id change my subs and amps if not everything just to try other stuff out. Now that I have a CC truck, car audio is only so much fun. I cant just throw any subs behind the rear seats and especially not the ones I used when I had an SUV...

I go on spurts....I've sold dozens of systems in the past and then ended up getting whatever is the newest hype. Still have my Q right now and I love it. When I get a new car, I'll either add another or trade out for something else.

As I get older (22 now) I find myself blasting my stereo less and less and being more concerned with quality, as well as appearance.

Look for a thread soon where I will be sealing my Q and doing some custom work in the trunk, to reduce weight and clean it up. This will be my first sealed setup since I started driving 6 years ago.
