Ok, before anyone acuses me of being a Tony stewart copycat I have been into custom hearses since the mid 80's. My current project is a 1989 Cadillac fleetwood. Photo bucket is being a pain and my computer keeps crashing, think its time for a new one. Here is a link to myspace where all the pics are. More will be added as it progresses. This is not being built for pure SPL it is being built for quality and will be mostly at regular car shows and halloween type events. View pics here

She is in the shop getting the headliner done now, so I am without it for 3 days. When I get it back I have to get the rear air bags put on before the boxes go in cause there wont be any access to the rear towers after. Meantime I will be pulling my 1/0 wire and getting ready. Once the boxes are in im making a faceplate that will tie them together, follow the contours of the car and have room on the sides for mids and highs. Still have to build the amp rack and 4 door pods. So, it is coming along nicely, but there is a hell of a lot of work to be done. My main goal is to have it all done in time for a big hearse show in Oct in Orlando.

reminds me of high school. 2 of my friends drove hearses, one was a 72 cadillac which was a ambulance/hearse so the back half was all simulated marble floors and walls(blood proof) it looked pretty cool

the other one had a 75 pontiac hearse w/ a 455, kinda cool seeing a hearse smoke both tires, wish i still had pics

Ok, she came back from getting the headliner done on tuesday. Base boxes are now in. Lots more wires have been run. The face plate for the boxes has been made and is getting covered in blue vynyl. Next to the 4 15's will be 6 2inch tweeters 2 coax 5x7 and 4 5" mids. Finished Dynamating the floor. A few new pics have been added to the original link.

Good to see someone from wisconsin. That is where all my family is and where I spent a lot of time growing up. Hope to get my family here back up to the dells soon. Would love to get the hearse to the big hearse show in Milwaukee, wont be making it by this april though.
