well i moved out to NC ad have gained over 50pounds...i was at like 256 but have dropped down to 233 as of right now but i want to continue losing fat and getting bigger and stronger if that makes sense? i guess id like to do liek the rest of the world lose the fat and gain muscle...i just cant seem to drop anymore weight period...[/quote
Are you doing some sort of cardio? If your wanting to still keep your strength up, and lose fat, supplementing cardio with weight lifting is essential. I would do something like 2 cardio days a week (increase as you go) and 3 lifting days a week for a good 2 week period until your body gets used to it and see if your losing any weight. Since your wanting to lose weight, DIET is THE most important factor. Keep supplementing with protein, but since your not trying to bulk up, you don't need 1g of protein per body weight, which is what is commonly known.

Creatine might not be your best bet at this point since your wanting to lose that weight. I would look into just a pre-workout then if you notice that the intensity of your workout is just not there. Like the above poster said, he doesn't get any affects from pre-workout supps. but everyone's body is different and reacts differently. It's pretty much trial and error with pre-workout supps. I have tried many stacks and only a few which I really reccommend. White flood is also a good pre-workout supp as well.
yeah and my diet has been MEH lately...i was using my whey protein and drinking that during the times of my day where a meal just isnt able to happen and it was working good but ive fallen off lately...my jack3d will be here when i get back from outta town so im going to get back into it like i was b4...im hoping that the jacked will give me the extra push i need at the end of the night...
 
x10 on just buying caffeine tablets. I only take them before jumping on the treadmill otherwise I dont have the energy to do HIIT cardio for more then 25 mins. I got 90 for like $5 on bodybuilding.com. I would take jack3d for maybe 2 cycles and ditch it. By then you will be addicted to working out. Sure you wont get huge pumps and results will take longer but at least you wont be pumping sugar, caffeine, and chemicals into your body. If im really low on energy I'll just take a hit of weed from my vaporizer and be charged up.

I would rather use roids. At least they have been thoroughly researched unlike most of these supplements and you know the short and long term effects.

you do realize that drinking protein WITHOUT a meal or a workout there after is useless?

Nitrous drinks, such as the one you purchased are good right before you work out as it increases your vein size dramatically. but you can do this simply by eating a banana lol. doesnt work as fast but works. I have protein powder in fruit smoothies that i make at home before every meal but diet is where its at bro. not gona get huge cut up and ripped eating pizza and burgers. doesnt happen.

well i dont eat pizzas and sh1t honestly and barely eat out...like i said ive lost 25+pounds already just not losing much anymore and need a little jolt before my workout...and why wouldnt a protein shake supplemented for a meal must do something as i was losing weight and felt great...i mean your body must take somethign from the drink even without a workout right? my other big problem is working nights i cant fit 3 square meals in mush less 5-8 small ones...so something i could just drink would be ideal for me...any ideas?
 
Not true. They reformulated it about a year ago and lowered the Magnesium content which was giving people the runs. SP250 is by far the best pre-workout supp. I have used. So essentially, it doesn't give you the runs anymore. But like with all supps, everyone's body reacts differently to supps.
never tried the re-formulated stuff.. and probably wont unless I burn out on Jack3d

I also wouldn't mess with NO-xplode, majority of it is caffine which is why you no longer feel the effects of no-xplode, nano vapor etc after a couple weeks... Your better off just supplementing with caffeine pills IMO.

If you have not messed with supps. in general, I would advise just starting out on the regular supp stash... MULTI, creatine mono, protein, fish oil. If your wanting the pre-workout, just do some research on bb.com and find out which supp. you would like to try out. Like I said, I never have liked NO-xplode, too much caffeine, which is pretty much all you feel during your workout. Don't really get a good pump, but the energy is nice. What are your goals?

I tried jack3d did nothing for me all pre workouts did nothing for me and was first time using them. Super dump still makes me crap. Your better off just getting some caffeine pills work for me and just cycle them.

It will definently help. I have been lifting for many years, and the only time I use a pre-workout or NO supp. is when I am at (and have been) a plateau in my lifts and I use it to get past that stage. I have seen people who eats tons of pizza and burgers and are still very cut, but this is only because everyone's metabolism is different. Jacked should work well for you though. Taking a protein shake when you are not able to eat works well regardless of what people say. The number thing you DO NOT want your body to do is to go into a catabolic state (where you havent eaten for a while, muscles deteriorate and fat accumulates quicker). So to avoid this, taking some protein (shake, whaever) is going to only help in the long run.
 
hey mike if ur working out late at night you wont fall asleep till 6-8am man these pre work out creatines give you a sh!tload of energy

thats why i wake up at 3am and lift before leaving for work at 4:30

ya thats what i was thinking about the shake...i just mix it with water and its only regular whey....im stoked to get this crap in the mail....hitting the gym tomorrow after work tho...i hope it goes better im going to try to get a good amount or rest
 
I lost a 100 pounds naturally, no supplements, just through diet and hard work. I get my protein through meat and usually get around 150-200 on a given day. I will admit some days I am exhausted, but is the nature of the beast when working 50 hours taking care of my kids and what not.

Keep up the good work, but IMO and probably because it works for me, I didnt need supplements or even whey to help me out. Just get to get in that frame of mind you can do it.

morning workouts i dont need anything im good but after all day and work all night yeah i could use a edge sometimes. glad you dont tho

I once in awhile spill some energy filth down my throat, lol!

Dont do much though.....Also I work out 4 days a week after 11pm, so I feel your pain. Is the only time to myself really.

now see i can tighten down and lift but i just feel like with a little more energy i could really make some progress in a shorter time...do you get what im saying?
