Lower, ime, is more of a function of tuning.
I bet it will be louder and be more boomier, so to speak.

I ntoiced they all have the same maganet and voice coil.

Thats what I'm trying to decide. If the wait for the 18 is gonna be worth it. IDK?If it'll be lower and louder than the 15. Need suggestions...

IDK either ??? id imagine lower but louder it all depends on watts and vehicle...

Is this daily or just for burps. I need to know if the 12s will handle 1.5k daily (music, few tones)

To get this clear, are you running 2500D @ .75 per two subs? You got four 10s?

This will equate to ~1300 per sub....so perhaps I will be ok

lol no i got dual 1.5ohms subs, .75ohm a piece daily 1 2500d=1 sub @.75ohm a piece

Flipx, as I stated in an earlier post there are people running a single DD z1 amp per 15 which is roughly 4000watts per sub and they havnt had a problem, then you have people running a single orion 2500d per 10 and they havnt had a problem, if your asking will a single 12 handle 1500rms then YES with ease, if your asking if the pair of 12s will handle 1500rms, YES but you would want to up the power to 1000rms each, only because it would be louder. On the 18s I am in the same boat, We dont know when the 18s will be out, but I think they would be well worth the wait considering the cost, this is a sub that cant be beat using the Quality VS price ration, this new HD3 sub ranks in the top 3 for me. The old Hd subs were just Insane and now they have made them better...just venture out and try them you will for sure not be unhappy. If you have the room I would wait on the 15s, because I am pretty sure they are going to get REALLY low and just destroy trunk lids, car panels whatever the case may be an thats what your after if you even consider running an 18inch sub.

Its going into a suv. Whether I get a 15 or 18 its going to a MD2 so like i said about 1800rms. I want it tuned around 32hz, but you guys said something about tuning high with the hd3's so idk about that either. I have all the room I need (up to like 10cubes, but I only wanna use up to 8, hopefully less than that.) I guess I'll just bring all my problems to DJ here in a few weeks after I get it. I'm gonna need a box design if anyone wants to make a quick 5 bucks. LMK.

dude you can go with the 15 and use 4.5 cubes tuned at 40hz and that power, Im sure dj will tell you the same thing...
