On the 18s I am in the same boat, We dont know when the 18s will be out, but I think they would be well worth the wait considering the cost, this is a sub that cant be beat using the Quality VS price ration, this new HD3 sub ranks in the top 3 for me. The old Hd subs were just Insane and now they have made them better...just venture out and try them you will for sure not be unhappy. [QUOTE="Mr. Loki, post: 1862821, member: 545020"] Flipx, as I stated in an earlier post there are people running a single DD z1 amp per 15 which is roughly 4000watts per sub and they havnt had a problem, then you have people running a single orion 2500d per 10 and they havnt had a problem, if your asking will a single 12 handle 1500rms then YES with ease, if your asking if the pair of 12s will handle 1500rms, YES but you would want to up the power to 1000rms each, only because it would be louder. If you have the room I would wait on the 15s, because I am pretty sure they are going to get REALLY low and just destroy trunk lids, car panels whatever the case may be an thats what your after if you even consider running an 18inch sub.
