considering I drive an 04 ford crown vic with 12 cubes easy, Im pretty sure I can fit a pair of 18s, matter fact I know I can fit 2 18s...why?

Do you face them up towards the trunk? I haven't ever tried that. I got prolly 10 cubes in mine....couldn't work the 18s, but maybe 15s. Does that work well, port face side or interior of cabin?

face them up and the port up is the only way possible in my car I got 12 cubes easy, but I dont have the time to build it to get the 12 cubes, I can do a rectangle at 8 cubes with ease.

Well the dude with the 34 x 25 x 12 box sounds like he needs a pair of 10's or a single 12". The pair of 10's in a 3 cube with 60" vent x 18" length will get stupid and a half and have two times the continuous slammhandling of the single 12" in a 2.5 cube box with 45" vent x 18" length. Get 'ur dunn!

^Well I have that volume to work with but that is practically my entire trunk. I'm trying to cut the depth by half so I can at least have half my trunk to use.

I mean a rectangle box, if you look at a crown victoria trunk you will notice it has a space between 2 humps then the space ontop of the 2 humps, If I had the time to build a box between the humps and a 2nd part over top of the humps it would be 2 boxes combined and be 12.9cubes if I just build a single box ontop of the humps i can get 8 cubes....understand?

spl tell me more what you were thinking as far as a spl super wang box? I was thinking 8 cubes tuned at 40hz, but DJ said thats not enough space, would need more like 10 cubes
