anyone ever install a fan inside the case of the amp (as long as it can fit w/o hurting anything)? disadvantages?

Youll probably get the best cooling by cooling the fins of the heatsink. Thats what the heatsink is designed to do.

another reason your amp could be to hot is that you are running it to low. i was running my tsunami 1800t down to 1.5 ohm and its only supposed to go to 2 ohm and one time i touched and burnt like a mother ******.
