I have a JX1000/1d and when ever I start my car it works fine green light and music bumpin.

I turn the car off to take the bar off, turn it back on and its in protect and wont turn green unless I wait a long time. It only works first start up, I checked the ohms coming from the sub and its a steady 2.0 and also took all the wiring off the amp and put it back on, still nothing.

Really pissed off Iv checked everything I can think, anybody have this prob before?

Yeah not a very popular amp, think there discontinued now.

Can't find a second amp around here for abit, any known problem that causes this?

You might go through and check all your wires for solid connections..Ground, Power,Remote...Onece I had an almost same issue, and found that I did not have a solid connection from the Remote wire.Might check that out..Jx series amps are pretty good amps by the way

Yeah, that's what I did today, just checked the connections at the amp, everything is tight.Might be at the deck end of things.
You have a solid clean ground?Might check to see if the fuse/connection on batt is solid..They tend to work theyre way loose while driving with bumpy roads ect.I try check all my connections one every month under the hood, while im checking my oil level, ect.

Is the amp under warranty? You can take it to a car audio shop for them to test it out..Some charge very little, some will charge nothing at all.Im kinda leaning towards low voltage issue for some reason..Those amps are pretty solid..If you crossed Parility when re hooking it up, you may have damaged the power supply, or if you accidently grounded it out..Doesnt take much for any JL amp.
