My 3rd Fi Q 15" Box...A little help?

I am just worried about fit still..

30x30x14 would not fit into my trunk, I needed 3-4" depth for it to fit. So 28x26x14 should fit.

Is your trunk opening that small? Intrepids have pretty big trunks actually.

I'd pass on the upfiring sub and do a wedge 2 like I suggested and have it rear firing.

Nope, top firing is good, i've dont it before. A 30x30x14 will not fit into the trunk from the opening, only the back seat.

Trunk is 14" at the back, I want access to spare tire.

I you want to keep the height but get rid of the double baffle you can build it this way.

Box Width: 28.00 inches

Box Height: 14.00 inches

Box Depth: 25.00 inches

Slot Width: 4.00

Port1 19.50

Port2 12.00

that will give you

3 @ 32hz w/ 50 sq/in of port

Can anyone just verify these calculations?

I was told by someone else that I need the port 38" long for 32hz tuning.

i get about 3.3@30 for those dimensions before sub and bracing

the total port length is probably 39", but it doesnt have to be as long when you use 3 walls of the box as the port

28 wide

14 high

24 deep

4" wide port

port 1 19.25"

port 2 10"

about 3.1@32 after sub displacement
