Mustang GT, subs?

I've got 2 15" Avalanches in my Mustang's trunk....but you can easily fit 2 12's as long as the box isn't over 14.5" tall
how did you fit 2 X15's in a stang?

yeah you can go a lot of 8's or 3X10's or 2X12's but i dont know about being able to fit a 15 i wasnt able to

The car I found is an automatic, I want a 5 spd but I'm not goign to complain. I'm able to get an 03 GT with 9500 miles on it for my truck straight up, so I aint *****in ya know? Anywho, I considered the IDMAX but they're expensive, and I'm really just not sure what I'm going to do.

What subs could I do(say two 12's) that would do excellent ported on my amp? I really cant find much of shit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

haha on your amp i would hate to say it but the hype R would fit

What sub? Most of the new 18" beasts have too much mounting depth even when upfiring. An 18 in a Mustang would be a sweet sight to see though...you should post some pics.
It sounds like a single 12" IDmax would fit your needs well. Here's a link on how to get a box 12+" into your trunk: http://www.3.8mustang.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101189

P.S. Buy a 5-speed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

How can you fit an 18" sub with a 10.75" mounting depth into a Mustang? My subs are in a 4 cubic foot sealed box and takes up nearly the entire trunk. I couldn't imagine a 5 cubic foot after displacement ported box in there. I've gotta see this to believe it...

Anyway, my subs are upfiring. They fit because of their smaller mounting depth (in comparison to some other "supersubs" anyway). Here's a picture:

I think about 8" of mounting depth is the max. to upfiring a sub without hitting the box or the top of the trunk while excurting....this MT may prove me wrong, but I don't see how it would work.

You have any pictures of it? I didn't even think there was 10 cubic feet of space in the trunk. If you really did have all that in there..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif
