mustang 460 mach stereo

I installed an aftermarket system with a the specified wiring harness for the mach 460 stereo. I am getting a loud pop when I turn on the car or the stereo.....is it my amp turning on?????What can I do about it???

your amp is turning on before it recieves audio signal. there are delay units that you can use.
