What do you all use to download music? I quit for a while, but now im trying to get back into it, and im using kazaa lite k++, with average cable. I cant dl anything, it all takes hours and such to dl. is this a problem with kazzaa or what please help?

I only download sparingly....always have. maybe cause I have 56k and transfers average like 2.5 KB/s. Recently though I kind of have quit trying to download new popular songs and stuff cause sorting out the bogus from the real files is such a pain on 56k and isn't worth the time. I guess the RIAA won...but when I do download now, it's mostly old songs (curtis mayfield, marvin gaye, etc.) or stuff from back in the day that I haven't heard in a while...I just downloaded "Back in the day"/Ahmad couple days ago.

limewire.

i havent got a bogus file yet,and its fast, and ill email you the pro version if you want it, it costs 39.95 usually, but there is a free version at limewire.com, but the pro version is better. anyone that wants it just PM me with you email

I'm all for freedom of information;

But as an Apple employee, I definately have to recommend iTunes. It's .99 a song. If you're gonna spend loot on your audio setup, drop a freakin' dollar on a song. You can burn seven copies of it, and store / play it on five computers, as well as your iPod - which by the way, you can attach to your stereo.

And all that's legal - with a little creativity, there are a multitude of things you can do with both the music, and especially the iPod.

Yes, I can cut a deal on an iPod.

Whats messed up is that you can d/l limewire to download music and all they ask for in return is buying limewire pro but even that you can find on limewire basic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm looking to get 190 + shipping for a 3rd Gen 15 GB I-Pod. Has absolutely no scratches or anything, absolutely mint.

If anyone is interested PM me. I think its perfect for anyone who doesn't have over 15GB of music that they still listen to at one time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Also, if anyone wants, I have a brand new firewire card that I'll throw in for 15 bucks.

If you're just looking for a few songs here and there then I would suggest getting limewire. If you're into full album downloaded then I use Bittorrent, mIRC, and mostly DC++.

You can burn seven copies of it
And this is exactly the reason I have not stopped pirating and gone to iTunes. I burn CD's without thought because they're so cheap...when I lose them or they get scratched, oh well, burn another. I cannot stand all the restrictions that "legal" download engines put on their stuff.
