Everyone touts the old round solo's (and I was a fan of them in their day)... but isn't the new CVX a superior driver? I know according to Kicker it is.
Sometimes nostalgia remmebers things abit nicer than they were. For example, just the other day I read someone stating the old solo's were notiously efficient drivers. LOL? When they came out, they were popular for their sound quality, but more importantly, from their extremely small enclosure requirements (for the time). But, this also made them infamously inefficient, not the other way around.

Most of these guys end up with larger sealed, or ported enclosures. IDK, it's just nice to know that what you want is available when looking.
