MTX Component setup Toyota Pickup Help

I have a 1990 Regular Cab Toyota Pickup and I got a new deck and a MTX Thunder Axe 4001 4" inch component speakers. It has the sub/mid with the extra tweeter. From what I have been told for best sound I should build a box for the speakers to resonate in instead of the just sitting in the dash. Has anybody done this and if I want to build the box so it sits re-sessed in the dash spot that they have now, how do I do that?

Alright so hopefully when I pop it off mine has one

1.)what do you mean by baffle?

2.)And also are the stock ones good enough? I know for the sub in another car that I built I put it in an enclosed wooden box. Does this plastic work for these higher output speakers?

3.)Where is a good place to position the tweeters? I figure the passenger side, just somewhere in the dash, however the drivers side brings another problem of things, a lot more stuff around.

4.)And lastly with the setup of those MTX Thunder 4001 setup and a JVC KD-R300, do you think I will need an amp?
