good point, if your looking to just to test your stuff out, DO IT IN UR CAR.. if you want a home theater, go to best buy and spend 60 bucks on a surround sound system

I had 4 15's in my old room when i use to stay with my parents on a Old pioneer HU and Cadence amp sounded amazing and i used the sub boxes as furniture

how did you do that? did you have a power converter or.....

its called a step down converter. I use them alot. They take 220/120 down to 24v/12v. Search ebay they have plenty

do they only go down to 12? It would be nice if they were adjustable from 12-18v so i could get some more power out of my amps

look.. there is no point in using car audio stuff in a home environment.. it was designed as it was for the environment of choice.. There is MUCH better stuff for home audio and much more efficient aswell.
