MTX 8000's what vol. box?

I recently bought 2 12" MTX 8000's and a 1200W Kenwood Excelon Mono Sub amp. I want to put both the subs in a single sealed box, although i want the bass to sound nice and loud with out messing up how tight the bass is. What should I make the volume of the box be?

well the book says to have from 1 to 2 cubic feet per sub. i think that the best sound would be around 1.25 per sub. so if yuor goin to have a box with no divider make it about 2.5 cubic feet but other wise 1.25 or so should be good for those subs

I own a pair of thuner 8000 12's and I have them running in a 1.25cft(each) enclosure, I think they sound excellent, but if you want them to sound really "tight" I would recommend you use a 1.1cft(each) enclosure.
