Well my mt finally came. First question is it just a really stiff sub or is it not normal that i cant push and make the cone move? I tried hooking it up but its acting weird its making noise but the sub is not moving at all is this normal? It should give a little, it is very stiff. But when run free air on power it should be moving and playing normally with no mechanical noise.

Mines stiff but i can push up and down on the cone and make it move easily. Sounds blown.

hmm that cant be good its like not moving at all but it does sound just like mechanical noise thats all you can hear.

i free air mines, has sorta a pah pah sound, but hey thats free air.... did you put it in a box?

no i didnt put it in a box but the cone will not move like i cant move it by putting all my weight on it.......... and free air with a 500 watts and then i went all the way 2 1200 dont u think it would move just a little bit at least?

Check the coils with a DMM.
