MT Box size recommendations

I am considering picking up a RE Audio MT 18" sub to run in the trunk of my 2000 Maxima SE, but am not sure what box to run with it. I will be running the sub off of a single Memphis Mojo amp. I know the power is a bit low at 2400 watts.

What box size and configurations are you guys running?

I am interested in a combo of both SPL and SQ, and i'd like it tuned low.

Any help would be appreciated.

i dont know if you can fit a box big enough for it through the trunk opening

i would stick with a 15

ive been told for 1 15 a 4.5 cube box with around 90sq in of port works, catch up with ngsm and ask him, i have each of mine in 4cu ft each @34hz withabout 65sq " per sub

you might can stuff a 15 in a 3.5 cu ft box an 18 can do good in maybe 6cube, you can do it lower, but your killing the lowned

i had my 18 in 7cuft @31hz and it had sick lowend, my 15 by it self in the 8 cube box at 34hz has some sick lowend also

My MT 15" is in a 4.5 cube @32 hz with 99 inches of port area, this seems to be about the average i have seen for this sub. BTW this is ngsm's old mt i bought from him.
