hey i am going to get a box that is only 6 inches deep, the sub i am going to use is 5 7/16 inch, is this going to be a problem, for sound or anything, please let me know thanks!

I think 2 inches from the back was the magic number. Need to let the air in your pole vent. By the way, you'd need to mount that pretty well, or it would tip over rather easily.
