any box designs for my alpine 12in E subs?

could anybody give me some ideas on how can i make an enclosure for my alpine 12" E subs. i have two. i know my subs aint that nice like you all have but i just want the best sound from them. box designs, ported or sealed, are very much welcomed. thanks!!!

2 ft^3 per chamber? but the specs says that the recommended sealed volume is just between 0.8 ft^3-1.7 ft^3. are you sure about the volume?

by the way, im going to install this one on the trunk of my 98 corolla e110.

thanks. i guess i should trust you on this one.

one question though, if i make your the enclosure using your recommended volume, would it sound better than having to use the maximum recommended volume of 1.7 ft^3?
