mounting amps to box?

i dont have the cash to get all the parts for an amp rack...but my box seems to be built pretty good...doesnt seem like theres flexing or much vibrations of any sort....

so should i connect it to the back of the box? im worried about theft though...ill bolt it down for sure

im gonna try to mount it to the box...a lot of ppl r saying that it wont ruin it if the box is built right...thanks for all the help

I have my Orion on my box. No trunk space...

mount the amp to a piece of wood than install to the back of your seat........ be smart bolt the wood to the seat so it would take longer for someone to rob you

mounting an amp to the box will not ruin it, its a myth. Ive seen systems hit 160db with amps mounted on the enclosure and there still working

ahhhh dont listen to spl hes a poon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif (j/k man haha), mounting the amp on the enclosure wont do anything bad lol....i'd use some sort of rubber type bushing too...to make sure theres no leak

lol good tip, I like to pre drill the hole and throw tons of silicone in the hole and on the screw
