What set of components would be the best if I were to run 100 watts to em, for a reasonable price? Looking for brand new, no buys off of people here(its gonna be in the future, sox)

And when I say best, I mean the bassiest midbass with cleanest sound. Highest effiency I should say

A lot of people like Massive Audio CK6 components because the woofers can play tight and loud bass. The price is very budget friendly too.

My Hybrid Audio Imagine speakers also put out strong and very musical midbass. No issues with bottoming out or sounding harsh at high volume if high pass crossover is used at 70Hz or so. I have them running on 60watts RMS but they should have no problems with 100watts or more powerful amplifier in an active mode. The set is a little pricey.

I'm not sure of a correlation between efficiency and "clean" sound. For a great midrange driver that has some punch to the midbass, but is also efficient (93.1 dB), I suggest the CDT Audio HD-6.

Is there such thing as best????

If i where to look into clean, smooth or detailed mids with a nice tonality, i think i would look into these speakers

Seas

Scan Speak

SB Acoustics

Aurum Cantus

Focal

JBL

HAT

Hertz

Etc....

You should put Diamond Audio on there as well. Very good drivers.

^^ diamonds do work. i have about 300rms at 4 ohms to each side of my fronts, the Diamond audio hex speakers sound great...150rms woofers, amazing tweets. cant wait until february when the release the new version.

any of their speakers i am loyal to.

Eton is the manufacturer/designer.

Yes the diamond hex which are built by ETON, do make a excellent speaker.

hey hispls, so you have the older Exodus??

i didn't realize there was older vs newer?

Yes the exodus mids are probably the best midbass driver i've owned.

I mean the midbass is very smooth with a clean tonality, in the lower end.

It has a metal cone, big magnet, yes it's a very heavy driver.

you only need around 100rms of clean power.

I felt like i had a sub in my doors.

If your'e looking to do a F.A.S.T. setup then i would pick the exodus driver over any other midbass.

If you want a really good or great driver i would look into scanspeak or aurum cantus.

I really like detail in my music.

Tonality is very important to my ears.

i really like the aurum cantus mids.

Each car environment is different.

I have a scion tc which to me is one of better cars to make sound good.

Look at HAT products.

They win almost every comp, which i don't know why.

There speakers aren't my cup of tea.

I think Scott does a excellent job which with his products, but to my ears in my car i don't want to bright which HAT products are.

Everyone hears music differently.

I like strong vocal's with a lot of detail, heavy midbass , & lots of low end, no not heavy boom boom
