More Spl Needed.

Local shops in my area are not giving me any help. They are saying that I will be lucky to get my car in to the 140's. I am building a daily driver system in a 92 caddilac Deville. I know that it is a big car and it is going to be hard to get good numbers but come on guys I do have a big *** trunk to that I can stuff 6 dead bodies in.

As of right now I have a Apline 7897, boston in the dash 4x6, 5.25 in the door, and 6x9 on the back deck with a xtant 400.4a 400.4a. Right now I'm working on a new battery maybe a stinger and second skin in the trunk.

Next I am ordering a xtant 1000.1 and going with 2 15's, JL15w3 or RE SE's. I am also going to port the rear deck and center console on the back seat to allow more bass in enter the car.

What do you guys think, I need to know what to do before I blow the cash.

I would be happy with high 140's.

i wouldnt aim for HIGH 140's, but w/ the RE SE's, im sure you can peak 140 at least.. THey will get **** loud, and id choose the RE's over JL inn a sec.. Good luck! sounds good so far.. but why 4x6's in the dash AND in the doors? i'd opt for only good speakers in the door or kickpanels..

It should get loud. I can do a 140 with my single 12" in my Intrigue with no problem. 2 15" SEs and a 1000wtts should bang.

You will never know unless you try. Besides its fun to yank it all out and do something different.

I looked inside my trunk today to find that the trunk is completey sealed almost air tight.

Get the biggest box you possibly can and port it like 37hz. you should scoop up some nice numbers if installed correctly and the box is real nice.
