hey all, I just received my alpine cda-9813 in the mail and I was looking through the manual, it says when running through external amps, I should stop the power supply to the internal amps for better sound. but it dosent say how, is this something you do after it is installed, or do you do it before installation. I looked for a switch but found none. Another question on the chassie there is a switch for 2 way x over and 3 way x over it says in 3 way you cant fade front to back. Here is my dilema my front speakers 4x6 kappa plates have built in passive x overs, as do my rear kappa 6.5 3 ways. My satilite amp is a usx 4065 which has electronic x overs, Im not sure how to set this up. I know I should use the passives that come with the infinities, should I run the amps flat and crossover with the head unit or use all three. Does any one have a similar set up that can give me some guidence, as the x over switch needs to be set before the install in the dash. I dont really use the fader that much, just to try to get some staging or imageing, and isn't that what time correction is used for I may be wrong this is my first real nice system so I could use some advice. Anyone that has the cda-9813 or 15 could probably help me, if you do you have a friend for ever. By the way I'm running a kappa 12" perfect off of a usx 2100 bridged @ 300w. All advice is welcome CC
