more speaker sets

currently i have door speakers. im thinking of building a center console. will adding a matching set to the sides of the center console make them louder? my current set isnt very loud.

Depends. It could cause cancellation, but it could improve volume in some cases. I'll let someone else chime in that's possibly had experience with it, however.

Doors put it out in one direction - I'm not positive (so anyone can correct me if I'm wrong) but facing the speakers in the direction of each other, from the door side, and from the center console, could cause cancellation. Unless you're aiming them straight at you - I'm not totally certain of what you meant. And I could be wrong. So someone else should chime in ^^
