more problems

Could it possibly due to my second batt? Or could it be the remote cuz I had to run a wire from the fuse box. Ir could it be the amp cuz when I tap the top if the amp it does the hic up thing. Im trying to solve the issue before I get my new amp.
You said this twice now and everyone is talking about grounds and such? People here are ******* retards. If knocking on your amp makes a sound through your speakers your amp is definitely a problem.

are you , by chance using a loc, or high level input? sounds just like a mid is working like a mic and feeding the signal back to the amp is the sound present with the rcas unplugged? also, the noise by tapping the amp does not always mean that it is bad. your body does pick up charge, and touching can have an effect if you are experiencing an rca-level problem in the vehicle. what does your meter zero out at? you have to subtract that from the reading you are getting, so it might not be as high as .5 ohms, really.

Ok so its defiantly not the amp, I tested a know working one and still no change. But I know I ran different rca's but they've been sitting for bout a year and I still don't quite know how to check em. But I have my remote wire and the wire from the fuse box running along side ny rca's could that have anything to do with it? And also most if my cars electrical wires to the fuse box are running along the same side but the wire from my alternator to ny batt under the back seat is running on the other side of the car

Continuity will tell you if two things are connected. The meter outputs a small signal through one lead and if it reaches the other lead it registers it as a beep. Don't use the continuity feature if what you are testing is hooked up to any sort of power because it will blow the fuse in your meter

Ok so I checked the rca's and my remote and still no change. Now my battery is located under my back seat. And I have 1/0 wire running to it from my stock alternator. I dunno how many amps. Could that be causing my problem?

Ok so I guess im going to try a few more grounds but if that doesn't work im gonna have to get a noise eliminator any suggestions on witch one to get? I found one for 7 does it matter?
