More OHMS- less power?

Hey, this is a really dumb question but if i run a sub from 2ohm load to 4 ohm load will i get more power(bass) or will it be less? i have 2 1000 watt volfenhag subs, which are stable at 2-8 ohms mono, 4 ohms stereo. lets say im running them at 2 ohms hooked onto a 2 ohm stable amp. if i run the subs at 2ohms rather than 4 ohms does that mean im getting more power? will running the sub at 4ohms result in the same power output to the subs? im really confused!

i want to bridge 1 of 4 ohm dvc subs to a kac-7202 amp(460x1 @ 4ohms bridged) but then i can only eire the sub to 2 or 8 ohm load. if i run at 8 ohms bridge will i get less power that if i could run it at 4 ohms bridged?

With that amp, the only choices would be to run each sub off of each channel (150w rms) or bridge it and wire the subs in series for 8 ohms at the amp (probably result in about the same 150w rms going to each sub).

I recommend just run each sub off their own channel.

ok this sux, ive got a second amp but i cant even run the subs at 4 ohms bridged. wat if i were to only connect the + and - to only one side of the sub? so two of the coils on the other side would be left empty.
