The 10's in theory, but if you take away the frame and part of the surround that isn't live that 12's would edge out by a bit.... close either way.

The chart is crap.

The normal Sd of a 10" sub is usually ~310cm^2

A 12"...around 480cm^2

(given 'normal' surrounds and cones...aka Fi, DC, etc)

So, 2-12" is ~ 960cm^2

and 3-10 is ~ 930cm^2.

OP, what subs are you looking at?

Ok...the 12's will have a little more cone area, but the 10's will offer better power handling and motor force.

The 3-10's will likely be more efficient.

OP, what subs are you looking at?

That chart is for reference. With out doing actual measurements and knowing how the surround is designed/works for each sub there is no way you or anyone can say this is XXX or that is XXX unless it is in front of you and you are measuring to ensure accuracy.(or have done so in the past)

For the subs in question, the manu listed Sd. So, problem solved.

The Xcon 10" looks to have a 'normal' surround for a 10", so I would say about 310cm^2 per sub. (620 total)

The Mojo also had a pretty average looking surround, so ~810cm^2.
