Monster 1/0 wire

well latly ive been looking for 1/0 wire, i came across this wire, however it has a peice of plastic inside of it?

you can see it in the pics on the bottom, whats the plastic do and what's it there for? also is this good/decent 1/0g wire?

Its there to screw you, to make the wire look fatter than it actually is

Go find a welder shop local to you, and buy 1/0 weld or even 2/0 weld for less than $2/foot

Better quality for less money

some marketing voodoo. As long as the cross section area of the COPPER is 1/0 I'm sure it will work fine.
