mono sundown amp high pitch

got a used amp off someone on here and when i hooked it up it made this terribly loud high pitch sound that went through the speakers.

so jacob replaced it for me. just got it brand new and i hooked it up and same ****!!

its not enigne noise, nor a ground loop. its just an extremely high pitch sound thats there with car off or on. its just consistently loud high pitch, nothing with gas or alt

anyone have this problem with a sundown amp? or know anything?! let me know please

RCA's, Ground location?

Do you have any processors hooked up before the amp, line drivers? Verified that the head unit RCA's are in good shape? Tried different RCA channels?

Have you tried hooking up a different amp to verify the problem with the Sundown? Two amps in a row tells me that it's not the amp's problem unless they sent you the same one back. Let us know..

tried different rcas

tried sending signal from my deck to different sources. only time i get the high pitch is when rcas are in sundown.

i tried using old amp withe exact same connections, and everything works perfect, noise free.

i have to say its the amp. if its something i can do, id gladly do it. but i just dont understand how everything is fine with my clarion but not the sundown!!
