I did it to Meka when I sent his money order last week... he hasn't said anything about it. I just crossed it though and initialed... maybe he can post tonight to verify.

i bought some stuff from sonic electronix and put there nathaniel victor(CEO). instead of sonic electronic.

i think you can cross it out, and then initial it just like personal checks.

Some banks may not accept it with a crossed out name.

What would have been better to due is to take it in to a bank/where ever you bought it, written "Not Used For Purpose Intended" on the back of it and signed your name (assuming you are the Remitter), and then used the money from cashing that money order to purchase a new money order.
