The MOFO is an awesome sub. It has great SPL and yet fairly good SQ in my opinion. I highly recommend them. There are a great sub for the prices that they sell for. I own 2 15" MOFO's and they are one of the best subs that i have ever owned.

That is cool. Yea, i was going to say just go with 1/0 instead of messing arround with the 2 ga. But you seemed really set on the 2 ga.

Thanks for sending a few people in my direction. I have not heard from anyone yet except REQ who is interested in a few misc. items.

i wouldnt buy these subwoofers for 1 reason...... not that they are BAD woofers, just that when we finally got a hold of someone at power acoustik's "technical" support, they told us that we blew a mofo 15'' because we were UNDER powering it.

you cant blow a woofer from "Underpowering it"

what do the mofo's handle rms? all i can find is 2400w max. also, everywhere says "ported @ 40Hz." do they not do very well tuned low?

Seeing how they are mainly an SPL driver is why they suggest tuning it so how. For SPL you want to tune higher. I had my tuned to 25 at one time and it still souned awesome.

1200 Watts Rms for the 12" 2400 watts max

1500 watts RMS for the 15" 2600 watts max
