First off I would like to say Im no expert, so you guys will probably find holes in my build and that's cool. I can go back and fix them lol. I just wanted some decent sound in my old little Jeep wrangler without spending a ton of money. Mud and sometimes water gets slung in it so I didnt want to spend a ton and just mess it up. My sub came in today and so did the box. The little XD10 AB sub really surprised me for a $100 sub, seems you can get a lot for your money these days. Box also came in and while its pretty slick, I am making some improvements to it. And I have done the "Big 3" already to make sure everything charges smoothly and I keep good power. My alternator is a 90amp unit just fyi. So here are some pics so far, please feel free to comment or critique.

Here is the little American Bass sub. Nice little sub. Should be solid until I can get the 3310 fixed.

Got the box in the back of the jeep, but I did not like the cheap little terminal block that came in it. So I went to the hardware store and got some copper 5/16" all thread. I then cut to length, drilled some 5/16" holes in the box and secured them. This will also let me control the dvc coil from outside the box, I dislike taking the sub in and out a lot. Will update more as I get it together.

Got the sub and box together and installed. Checked the sub for correct polarity with a 9v and checked the ohms with a meter. Ohmed out at 2.5 and 2.4 respectively. Now I'm going to jump in on the amp wiring.

Got the amp wiring in, new battery, new block etc.. The kit is a cca kit but its 4ga, was disappointed the rubber end covers weren't shrink tubing. I went ahead and used my own shrink tubing on the battery connection points, made me feel better. I bought a twin post battery with the gm connections on the front so I could split things up a little. Coming along ok.
